    Every room and suite sleeps on an ergonomic COCO-MAT mattress, with a marble bathroom, a private balcony or terrace, a 55" smart TV and turndown service. Check-in 15:00, check-out 11:00.

    Breakfast, then the beach

    Breakfast is served until half past ten, late breakfast until eleven, and a lunch basket can be packed on request. Then the sun loungers by the pool, or Savalia beach from morning to sunset, when the sun melts into the deep blue sea.

    Elis SPA

    Music therapy, colour therapy, aromatherapy, relaxing massage, sauna, hammam and the Katharsys beauty cabin with Dead Sea mud. For hotel guests the spa runs daily, by appointment on extensions 118 and 119.

    Next door, a fitness centre and a private gym with its own shower, booked at the front office.

    You are staying in Elis, the city that hosted the Games

    For more than 1,200 years, from 776 BC, Elis organised the Olympic Games. A month before each Games the athletes trained in its gymnasium, then walked with the judges along the Sacred Way to Olympia.

      Savalia is a village of the municipality of Elida, on a coast of golden sand beaches facing Zakynthos, with the largest valley in the Peloponnese behind it.

      Here the athletes spent the last month before the Games, taught the rules of fair competition under the Greek judges. Its theatre had no stone seats: spectators sat on the slopes. Today it comes back to life every year for the Festival of Ancient Elis.

      The valley of the gods, the most glorified sanctuary of ancient Greece. Between the Games, sixteen women of Elis organised the Heraia, the women's games in honour of Hera.
